To prove the value of outdoor education, L.E.E.P. recently bought a bus which they fill with only recycled bio- diesel fuel. This purchase makes it possible for students of all socioeconomic conditions to go on field trips to the beach and the aquarium, a privilege that many schools in Charleston cannot provide.

In the spirit of prompting
social progress and change, Progressive Ideology is a forward-thinking
initiative aimed at raising public awareness and generating productive
dialogue regarding social, environmental, and humanitarian issues that
ultimately affect the well-being of all individuals and groups across
the globe. To achieve this, we have created a line of apparel in hopes
of fashioning the progressive ideals associated with cultural
diversity, individual liberties, social equality, and universal
interconnectedness.

Progressive Ideology does not officially associate with nor support
partisan political agendas. Rather, we aim to reflect the need for
progress and change according to the contemporary social climate that
affects our global society and world culture. Progressive Ideology is
an ongoing working construct that maintains an open perspective by
supporting and promoting the betterment of humanity.

Conscious Culture is a collaborative authoring project to bring you the most inspired perspectives from the healthiest parts of our society. You’ll find the latest on topics that matter most, from the creative writers coop at Conscious Blue.

Enjoy and return often, as we’re constantly adding fresh content. You’ll be hard pressed to keep up with us, but we encourage you to try!

We’re proud to announce plans for the 2007
Spring Into Action Bus Tour
Ecobus_1

We’re
currently in the planning stages of our latest and most ambitous
project yet. We’re going to take our operation on the road this summer
to spread awareness and positive vibrations. We’ll be promoting NGO’s, Sustainable Solutions, and Conscious Action. We’ll keep an On Tour journal as a
portal to all the incredible connections we make along the way.

But that’s not all! We’ll be videocasting interviews with progressive leaders, artists, and visionaries, documenting ecovillages and intentional communities across the country, and podcasting from festivals and concerts where we’ll be doing collaborative brainstorming and networking.

From
Janruary untill March we’ll be in the planning and construction phases
of the project, which presents an excellent opportunity for you to get
involved.
We’re currently seeking

  • Intellectual collaborators to join our online team
  • Innovative philanthropists and companies to join as project sponsors

We expect to reach over 50,000 people in dozens of cities on the
first tour leg alone, connecting with the best and brightest people and
places around. Don’t "miss the bus", contact us today.
